Butterfly Great Spangled Fritillary

I had not seen this butterfly before yesterday. Thankfully, Grant had a readily accessible book on butterflies that helped identify it. Click to enlarge these-nice details on them.

We were on the river last weekend and butterflies were swarming!!! 10-12 at a time! Beautiful site!

Oh and there was a Luna Moth the size of a small bird!
